QotD: Ghost Stories

Do you believe in ghosts? If so, have you ever seen one?

Of course I believe in ghosts!  I have seen several, we lived in an older home in Chicago.  We had several ghosts, a woman who would walk the upper floors hallway and the stairs.  In the living area, there was a more expressive male, who would show his disgust or anger often.  He would knock over things regularly and always wanted the curtains open to see out. In the basement, was who we called the beggar, dressed in rags who seemed to be always wanting something, he would raise his hands to you for you to give him something!   We never knew their stories tho.  Here, in the older home we lived in, someone was always opening the back door, leaving it open, they would bang the screendoor like they were knocking on it.  People in town have always thought that house was haunted.    Now we live in a new house, the only ghosts will be our own!
