Here we are shearing day.  Boy, was it hot, and dusty.  Here are a few shots I took today. 

The first is raw wool, right off the sheep. Its piled and stuffed into huge bags, each weights about 10 lbs.  (the fleece that is)

Next is the ladies waiting for shearing  and in the back ground, mostly lambs...they are soo cute.

And here one of our trusty dogs, Sunni, she's a border collie and has been around a long time.  She smart enough to know where the best shade is!!

We raise sheep, and even tho this isn't ours, knowing how scared sheep get, this is very funny!

I confess, I've been working way to much, and not online.  But we're lambing and well, I'm a sheepherder.  Its a wonderful, beautiful time, to see the new lambs born.  Its also a tough job, a few don't make it, you get knocked around by their mothers a lot, and its a smelly, wet job. But watching them play and pop around like popcorn makes it all worthwhile!
